Equilibrium and preequilibrium charge states of ions passing through gaseous and solid targets

This work presents a compilation, systematic and analysis of experimental data on equilibrium and preequilibrium charge fractions and mean charges of ions, passing through gaseous media and thin foils of carbon and celluloid, obtained in Laboratory of Atomic Collisions of Scobeltsyn Nuclear Physics Research Institute. The general features of charge equilibrium formation in ionic beam, depending on the main interaction parameters, are analyzed.
